 My First Coffee Grinder October 8, 2008
I was told that there isn't any fresher coffee flavor than fresh ground coffee. I've even worked for a local coffee service here in town, and tasted coffee that was ground whole bean, and preground. I must say that fresh ground indeed has the best flavor. My Capresso Infinity Conical Burr Grinder arrived just a few minutes ago, along with my first 5lb bag of my favorite beans (talk about a coincidence!),
Set up/assembly was elementary. I downloaded the PDF instruction manual from the Capresso website, so I was versed in operation. Let me tell you, this cup of coffee is by far the best yet! Fresh ground whole bean coffee in my own home, excellent!! I'm so looking forward to tomorrow morning!!
I purchased this particular grinder due to the well over 300 positive remarks! Not all of these people can all be wrong! I'll follow up in a few months after some future grinding!
 Very messy, clogs if you use fine setting October 4, 2008
The pros: grinds well on medium and higher setting, quiet.
The cons: lots of static electricity in cup, very messy, clogs if you use fine setting.
I would not buy this again.

Grinds very well and less noise than previous burr grinder.I had a small
learning curve with the timing dial as it starts the second it is turned
so difficult to judge the same setting at first. I would like a start switch after selecting the setting. Still a small amount of static coffee
flies around but not a big deal. Better than old Cuisinart. Overall very
pleased.

This coffee grinder works great. It takes about 4 uses to get used to it. The clear top got coffee beans dumped on it more that once; opaque might be better. I grind 1 pound of coffee on the most course grind to use in a coffee Toddy cold water maker. I was worried that the grind wouldn't be course enough but using the most current directions on making the coffee from ToddyCafe.com the grinder provides the perfect ingredient.
