Product Description Release just the needed number of ice cubes into the included serving tray with a touch of the flexible release pad on the bottom. Tray acts as a lid to prevent spills while ice is being made and stored; can also be used for serving. Lightweight and incredibly durable.

Expensive for a tray but worth it! August 12, 2008 With the 4 for 3 promo going on, I just bought 3 more. I have 2 now and love them. Ice cubes pop out easily. The lid helps trays stack and I am less apt to spill from the sink to frig. My hands are small so popping out cubes is easier. Little kids could do this also with ease. You can pop out a few cubes and put it back into the freezer. I use mine to hold fresh squeezed lemon and lime juice. I am throwing away ALL of my old trays.
Good for Freezing Breast Milk August 7, 2008 These work great for freezing breast milk and baby food. It's efficient to have a cover to keep stuff fresh, although I wish it snapped on better. It's nice that the lid works as a tray when popping the cubes out. With my first baby I used standard ice cube trays, with a big freezer bag to keep the stuff fresh, this is much better. Running the bottom under hot water helps pop the cubes out. The trays stack well too.
Working great so far! July 22, 2008 I am using it to store pesto in the freezer. The cover does not really snap in place, but adequately covers the contents.
Just an ok ice cube maker July 20, 2008 This is just an ok ice cube maker. It is not worth $10. It does stack up nicely, and the soft bottom does helps in getting the cube out of the tray. However, the bottom must be a little melted before you can press on it to get the cubes out. So you must either run hot water on it or let it sit on a very shallow pool of water first (I do the latter since I don't want to waste the water). I think it's not a great improvement over the regular ice tray. It is not water-tight! I take water-tight to mean that after you properly close the lid, you can turn it side ways or up-side down and water would not leak or spill. That is not the case. The lid just go on, it does not snap on, so if you tip it over, water will spill.
Holds Odors, Pricey, but of Sturdy Quality July 3, 2008 These trays are ok. They make smaller ice cubes which I really didn't like at first, but now prefer. I was expecting to just push the bottom to pop the cubes out, but it really takes a bit of pressure to do so. I normally end up just pushing the whole tray with lid on the edge of a table to pop three out at a time. These trays are sturdy, but I guess I haven't tried popping the cubes out by the normal twisting motion which normally breaks a tray so it's a little hard to compare. The only two things that I don't like is the ridges on the top are a little to high, so you can't just pull one tray out of the freezer, you have to pull the whole stack since they stick to much. Second and a bigger issue is the silicone picks up smells from the freezer. My roommate left a beer in the freezer several months ago that exploded We cleaned it two days later when we noticed it but not before my trays picked up a smell. I have tried cleaning them several times and even soaking them for a few days in water with bleach or lemon, but to no avail. The smell luckily isn't on the inside so doesn't effect the flavor of the ice, but every time I take them out of the freezer there is a noticeable smell of old beer. I'm giving it 3 out of 5 because of the smell issue and they are honestly more expensive then they should be.
