Product Description Toss out that bent and rusting metal whisk. This 100% silicone coated whisk flexes when it needs and keeps its shape and color use after use. Fully encased in silicone, its wires preserve the texture of delicate foods while protecting surfaces without scratching them. Ideal for nonstick and metal cookware, the balloon whisk resists stains and does not absorb food flavors or stains. Heat resistant to 800 F, this helpful tool keeps its cool in pans on the burner. Ergonomic handle offers an easy, comfortable grip. Whisk cleans up easily by hand in soapy water or in the dishwasher.

Le Creuset 10" Balloon Whisk, Red - Love it! October 1, 2008 This whisk is a nice weight and size, fits nicely in my hand, and is very easy to clean. Other whisks tend to collect food at the tip but I find that this whisk lets go of food better so it whisks well and leaves food in the pan or bowl where it should be. This is a great product to use on your non-stick or specially coated pans. I recommend this product.
Top Heavy August 28, 2008 I like this whisk when I use it in my large pot. But if I use it in a medium size bowl, it often flings out of the bowl because it is top heavy. Very annoying because foods splatters all over.
LOVE LOVE LOVE August 21, 2008 This is my second of these whisks. I had the red one and during a move have yet to find it so I bought the white. There is no better silicone whisk on the market than this one. My pans cost a fortune and are white enamel (Chantal) and this whisk has yet to leave a scratch. You will never regret this purchase.
Where has this been all my life??? April 1, 2004 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I LOVE this whisk. I've only had mine a week and I've used it several times already. Before making this purchase I used a plastic whisk. It was gentle on my le creuset and nonstick cookware, but it was so thick that it didn't do an effective job. This whisk is just like a metal one, but safer. I think it's well worth the price.
A really beautiful wisk March 10, 2004 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I too bought this wisk since I had read in a review that it was all silicone. But I have been really happy with the quality and also the design. The shape of the handel makes it a dream to use. Also I was tired of scratching my Le Creuset pans so it has been a god send.
