These squishy bowls are really handy for college. I use them for soup in the microwave without a problem. You will want a plastic bag to stick them in once they're dirty, though. Do NOT leave them dirty or forget to wash them as they can get moldy with the remnants of your food! Even if you do, they're easy to clean, can be disinfected, and have no trouble surviving in the dishwasher.
