5 out of 5 stars Great camping perculator!   October 9, 2008

I've found this coffee pot to be great for making camp coffee! It is well constructed, quite heavy duty, with very good perculating. The coffee comes out very good if cooked right. There's been some complaints about the light-weight stem inside and I can see what they're saying. I haven't suffered any problems with that, though. If you're not rough with the insides I don't think you will either. I really like this coffee pot.

3 out of 5 stars Good Coffee with one major drawback   June 3, 2008

This coffee pot makes great coffee and will be a boon when the power goes off this summer as it inevitably does in South Florida. The pot, handle and lid are well-crafted and sturdy. BUT, the stem which holds the coffee grounds basket is unbelievably flimsy. It bent completely out of shape just from hand washing. Fortunately, I was able to bend it back into the proper shape, but I'm sure after one season, we'll probably have to replace it. We own several Coleman products and this is the first one that has elements that are so poorly manufactured.

5 out of 5 stars Ideal for camping!   June 1, 2008
Took this with on our last camping trip and we love it! Made excellent coffee every time. Cleans up easily if you rub a bar of soap around the bottom and the bottom edge before you cook over the fire.

5 out of 5 stars GOOD TO THE LAST DROP!!!!   March 25, 2008
I highley recommend this product. Not only is the coffee pot attractive looking, it's lightweight and easy to handle, and a big plus is that the pot washes beautifully in the dishwasher. But, best of all, you get good-tasting coffee when it's brewed in this pot.

3 out of 5 stars coleman 14 cup percolator   December 24, 2007

I like this product and it makes really good coffee. I only gave it a 3 star rating because the insert (basket/stem) is very flimsy and infact was bent when it arrived. I am sure that it will break sometime soon and I have already been looking for a replacement insert so that I have one when this one goes. ALso - I wish the handle of the percolator had some type of coating or insulator so that it would not get too hot. You have to pick up the handle with a pot holder. Otherwise, the percolator makes excellent coffee - much better than an electric percolator or drip coffee maker.
