Designed for active pursuits, the Kelty Oriole is a streamlined lumbar pack that balances weight and performance. Equipped with an array of features and including two water bottles, the Oriole is ideal for biking or fast-and-light day hiking. A sturdy, padded waistbelt lends reliable support to the Oriole and can be removed entirely when you're traveling light. A padded, adjustable strap lends further support or allows you to carry the Oriole over your shoulder. The shoulder strap can also be removed entirely when not needed. Integrated compression straps enable you to secure the contents of the Oriole. Accessed through a zippered entry, the top-loading main compartment of the Kestrel has a 350 cubic inch storage capacity. An integrated Delrin arch support provides the compartment with structure and makes it easy to load and unload. An internal zippered pocket and fleece-lined optics pocket offer further storage options and an expanding shove-it pocket grants on-the-go access to gear. Mesh side pockets keep two water bottles (included) close at hand.
