Amazon.com Product Description
Whether you're hiking in the woods or strolling about town, a good waist pack is invaluable. Enter the JanSport Fifth Ave II, a 150-cubic-inch pack that holds just enough for most on-the-go activities. The Fifth Ave II comes with a sizable main compartment to hold snacks, a book, and other basics, along with a zippered front pocket to keep essentials handy. The adjustable waist belt, meanwhile, is comfortable and secure. The coolest feature, however, is the headphone exit port, which makes it easy to listen to your iPod or MP3 player while on the move. The Fifth Ave II--which is made of 600-denier polyester and 420-denier nylon--measures 12.5 by 6 by 4 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 4 ounces.

5 out of 5 stars Jansport Fanny Pack is a good one   January 7, 2009
I got this as part of a gift for my 80 year old father. He really liked it. He said that it held his money, and camera. It was perfect for his tour of Alaska.

2 out of 5 stars quality is not great   November 2, 2008

I purchased this for my daily use, since I need a place to put my keys (a big bunch) and my wallet.

The layout is good - a front pocket and a main pocket, however, I hope it will have one more small pocket on the back. The size is a little large for everyday carry on.

The main complaint is that the quality is not good. The binder ring for the belt became so loose after few days and the belt would dangle around your waist easily. I will return this to Amazon for sure.

I had a eagle creek waist pack and it lasted for three years - much better quality control.

5 out of 5 stars great camera bag for a preschooler   May 22, 2008

I bought this for a 4yo to use as a camera bag/treasure bag. It worked great! It is light weight and very adjustable. It is made of a nylon fabric that breathes a little - unlike the vinyl ones I have tried. It is small, but the main pocket is roomy and easy to access. We like it.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty waistpack, well made, good size for small woman   January 25, 2008

I love using a waistpack at a theme park, the park, the zoo, the museum, any place that I will be on my feet and/or do not want to have a purse on my shoulder for hours, especially if I will be taking pictures or video. But so many waistpacks are very bulky and look horrible on a woman with a small frame, or a tween-teen girl. This is a perfect size. It has a main compartment roomy enough for my cell, camera, and personal items. Then a good size front zipper compartment -- roomier than most -- for storing flatter items. I took off one star because it does not have a hidden zipper compartment on the back to store cash. The blue print is subtle and pretty. I like the rounded shape, very flattering, and it is nice to have a strap that is a soft grey rather than black. The Jansport brand holds up well in my experience. My daughter saw it and immediately wanted it so I guess I have to order another for me!

5 out of 5 stars Great for the Hospital   October 21, 2007

I love this fanny pack, its good quality, its pretty ( blue flowers ), and its just the right size. Its not a very large fanny pack but I manage to pack my blood pressure cuff, phone, wallet, calculator, and pens without too much digging around. I work at a hospital and this is pretty sturdy material and well-made. The best thing about Jansport is you get a lifetime guarantee. If you need a fanny pack, this one would be a good one to get!
