 decent picnic backpack for the price May 7, 2008
My wife and I picnic a lot so I bought this as a gift for her. We have used it several times and it has been fine for the most part. The zippers are really cheaply made so it feels like they will pull of the track at any moment, but we have not had any problems thus far. The utensils are solid and the plates are also much more solid than some other picnic backpacks we had looked at. The condiment holders are a little sketchy and we have to always keep them closed with a rubberband just to avoid the possibility of it spilling out, but this is a good backpack for the price. I think you could spend more for only a minimal upgrade in quality.

The Sportsman Guide store was excellent.
I found the product to be of a high quality. I nicknamed it "The millionaire's picnic basket."
I had purchased it to treat myself like a queen in a relocation. I wasn't game to sit on a floor with a burger in paper waiting for my stuff. Instead of a move, to my horror, I found myself for several nights on the floor trying to survive my neighbors involvement in gang warfare with guns! I had this backpack packed treats, cig's, etc..., and on the floor where I'd be creeping. My neighbors moved but when I think back I was so thrilled to have bought this item. I felt then and do now feel like hugging myself.
A perfect picnic basket for Southern Californians!
