This product was purchased for work. I'm a server and do Wine Service at least ten times a night. Everytime I atempted to use this, it split the cork, the screw part is very thick. The handle is uncomfortable in my hand and it is the WORST wine key I have ever used. I tried giving it to someone after I got another from a Wine Rep and no one would even TAKE it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This corkscrew is the perfect item for a kitchen or bar. It is a nice medium weight and the metal pieces feel solid and well made. The rubber body makes for a comfortable hand hold and won't slip easily.
Considering the price, this is a great value and won't disappoint. I highly recommend this corkscrew to everyone as a kitchen/bar staple.
Perfect tool for the job December 18, 2008
Quite simply, you'll never need another corkscrew. This works better than the $100 laguioles I used as a waiter in 5 star restaurants. Perfect tool at a fantastic price.

This little gem provided an easy experience in opening wine bottles. I stayed clear of other openers, which always seemed to make the task at hand difficult. This opener made the job a pleasure with no resistance at all.
