These have been one of the best purchases I've made from Amazon. They will last a life time. It's easier and more accurate than using a measuring device that is not see-thru. I save my plastic measuring cups for things like flour and sugar. The glass can be popped right in the microwave if you have things that need heated for recipes like milk or butter. The glass is durable, I've had mine for years.
