Kitchen Aid Wire Whip December 30, 2008
I recently purchased a replacement wire whip for my Kitchen Aid mixer from Amazon.com. The best part is that is was cheaper to order on-line from Amazon.com that to order it where I live. The only difference is that the original wire whip I had was heavier, but the new one works great. Thanks
K45SSWH Owners beware December 8, 2008

This item works fine, good quality, etc. HOWEVER, if you are an owner of the K45SSWH 4.5 qt bowl lift model purchased at Wal-Mart's Black Friday sales, this WILL NOT WORK with your mixer! The model number of the mixer at Wal Mart is contrived, that model is actually a rebadged discontinued K5 Classic according to KitchenAid. You will need to purchase accessories intended for a K5, NOT a K45 (as one would assume). Hope this helps someone.
