This is hard to use and prone to breaking. The foil cutter breaks after 2 times.

I was given the "MIU Connoisseur Corkscrew" as a Christmas gift two years ago. Since then, we have used it several times a month (I drink a glass of red wine every day, medicinally of course :-) with the same great results every time.
The device is well made and easy to use, if/when it happens to break I will replace it with another.
Highly recommended!

Awesome. Removes corks with very little effort. Best part is that you can also use the lever to remove the cork from the corkscrew itself, so you no longer have to fear cutting your hand when removing a cork from a corkscrew. Get it.

This was a wonderful tool for about a year, and I was thrilled that it was so much cheaper than the name brands, but then some part of the internal mechanism broke so now I've just got a neat foil cutter.

these openers are no good, they break after only using them about a dozen times or so
buy the better one because these are a waste of time and money
