I bought the 3-tiered shoe rack. After assembling it, one of the knot (made of hard plastic) broke. I really liked this shoe rack, but I wish they made the knots (that holds the spinning rack) medal instead of plastic. And they should consider making a screw-in-hole into the rod so that the knots (which are placed underneath the spinning rack) would stay in place. Strangely after all of this, I'm still thinking about purchasing this ceiling-shoe-rack. May be because it's different from the other shoe racks. I think I might give it another try and consider it my bad luck that the 3-tiered didn't work out.

Whitney Design 2199 Floor-to-Ceiling 36 Pair Shoe Tree, ChromeThis is very sturdy. Took me about an hour to assemble. Comes w/allen wrench & no other tools required. Won't fit boots but really does save closet space. Loosely tighten racks & adjust later based on shoe size.

I read other reviews and since they were mostly positive ones, I thought I would purchase it for myself since I have many pairs of shoes. It cleared up my entrance and now it looks much neater. The only negative comment I would say is that it is made mostly for women's shoes. I tried putting my husband's shoes on the rack and you actually have to leave a space between each pair because his shoes are much bigger than mine. Other than that, I highly recommend this shoe tree. In fact I have purchased a smaller one (3 tier) that will remain in my entrance. Great product!

Not the prettiest looking as the shoes are held with the bottoms out but it does hold securely the amount of shoes advertised using very little floor space. Sturdier then I expected for the price.
