Product Description Meat loaf? Banana nut bread? A loaf of sourdough perhaps? Whatever your baking, you'll want the best results possible. Commercial quality bakeware sets the standard for professional results and durability.
Amazon.com Review If you only buy one loaf pan, this classic 10-inch-by-5-inch heavy-gauge pan made of durable aluminized steel would be an excellent choice, as it's wonderful for breads or meatloaf and will last for years. Three inches deep, it holds about 2 pounds of bread dough, making a copious loaf for big sandwiches. The steel turns dark over time as the pan "cures," a natural process, which enhances baking performance and heat distribution. Versatility is the key here, and this sturdy pan will definitely earn its keep. --Shannon Borg

High quality pans for serious bread bakers December 27, 2008 I bought a pair of these pans a few years ago, and I just love them. They are so nice and heavy and produce a lovely crust. They must be handwashed, but they come clean very easily without a lot of elbow grease. I'm planning to start baking most or all of our family bread, so I'm now looking to buy additional pans. I think these will last my lifetime, and possible well beyond. These are definitely a good investment, and an excellent value at this price.
Indestructible pans December 6, 2008 The Chicago Metallic Commercial pans are great. The only complaint I could mention is that these came with a paper label stuck in the bottom with some glue that was nearly impossible to remove.
Love it! November 23, 2008 I have a lot of loaf pans but this out does them all. It's heavy duty, cleans up nice, and cooks evenly. I love this pan!
My "go to" bread pan August 17, 2008 Even thought this isn't non-stick - everything comes out great. The weight of this pan is wonderful. I bought several for christmas last year and gave it with Beer Bread mix.
Great bread pan August 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nonstick. Works like a charm. I use this to make bob's red mill bread mixes that make 1.5 pound loaves. My bread comes out perfectly every time. I forgot to oil the pan and it still didn't stick at all. Very clean, high quality product. Highly recommended.
