This polished aluminum coffeemaker brews coffee and then lets brunch guests or executives at a breakfast meeting serve themselves. The coffeemaker brews up to 30 cups of coffee and averages about one cup per minute in brewing time. For accurate filling, the urn has water level markings on its interior. The coffeemaker has a red serving light that illuminates when brewing is complete and the coffee is ready to pour. The two-way faucet pours easily and is dripless. An automatic temperature control keeps coffee warm as long as it is plugged into an outlet. For safety from burns, the filter basket has a cool tip and the handles, base, and lid are all heat-resistant. Additionally, the coffeemaker's cover twists to lock, ensuring that accidental spilling will not occur. The coffeemaker comes with a detachable cord for easy storage.  Great for large families December 28, 2008
I purchased this for a large family gathering for Christmas. It makes great coffee and is easy to clean. It was easier than refilling a 10 cup maker over and over again. I am taking it with me for our week at the beach. I am tired of the smaller version being empty for that last cup.

Purchased this to have hot cider on hand for events. Did exactly what we needed it to. Didn't overhead but got the cider up to the correct temperature.
24-48 cups per day for several week. No problems December 16, 2008
Iv'e been using this machine for several weeks now without complaint. There are quite a few coffee drinkers at work and the 12 cup machine couldn't keep up. This one does the trick. Cleaning is simple and brewing is quick. I believe the instructions state 1 minute per cup, but I know it is much faster than that.

It says it right there- polished aluminum. I did not pay attention when I read the description. I purchased if for my office, but several people did not want to drink from it for fear of aluminum poisoning (which is reputed to cause damage to your nervous system). I can't say if this fear is well founded, but I didn't want to drink from it either. Now it just sits there and we purchased a Kurig cup at a time maker that we use daily. (The Kurig gets 5-starts btw.)

I owned this product before, and the power cord wore out over the years. I was pleased to be able to find an identical replacement. I use this percolator for brewing tea and other hot beverages for large groups, and have found it to be a wonderful time saver. If you've got the need and space, I highly recommend this product.
