Designed with a stainless-steel stopper coated with silicone and a slightly cinched neck instead of a handle, the sleek carafe serves wine, sparkling water, juice, and tea that may be hot or cold, thanks to the double-wall construction and thermal borosilicate glass. In addition to preventing condensation, the double layers create the impression that the liquid is suspended within the carafe, sure to provoke some interesting observations. Preheating the carafe with warm tap water is advised before filling with hot beverages. Product is awesome. sleek looking, easy to use and keeps liquids cold or hot for long periods of time.

Beautiful and useful but it only lasted two weeks before cracking. It did not hold heat as well as I'd hoped--perhaps not enough air space between layers of glass.

We use this attractive carafe for milk at dinner time. So much nicer than a milk carton! Also, the carafe keeps the milk colder that a regular milk carton, which my son appreciates
