Product Description We couldn't design a better corkscrew than the original rabbit, so we designed a totally different one. We call it the Vertical Rabbit, because it stands up on the wine bottle and operates vertically. Like the Original Rabbit, it pulls a cork in three seconds, ejects the cork automatically and carries a 10 year warranty.

Buyer Beware November 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased opener for basic home use. It lasted all of 2 months! The mechanism which enables you pull out cork failed and when I turned the unit upside down a piece fell out. Needless to say, we are very disappointed and trying to get a refund now. When it worked, husband and I found the opener very easy to use. The foil cutter was fairly useless on bottles with larger top rims, but we have a nice cutter so that didn't bother us too much.
Great gift October 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my father as a gift. He likes it so much he shows all his guests how easy opening a bottle of wine is now. I think I might buy one for my house as well.
Works well, but takes some effort October 9, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The mechanical action for removing and ejecting the cork works well, as advertised, BUT - It takes more effort than I had expected and it is hard for a person with small hands, such as my wife, to get a good grip on the body while useing the lever, and the foil cutter can be tricky with some bottles. It is an improvement on the basic "waiter's corkscrew" I was useing, but still not the perfect answer.
