Everything they say in the infomatericals are true!! December 19, 2008
Bought this product and I have nothing but good things to say about. Love the color comfort lips to tell whose drinks is whose. Also, love the power of The Magic Bullet. Even if you don't use a blender very much you'll love this product!

I've had my bullet for a couple of years. Use it all the time, mostly for smoothies. Maybe the reviewer who said it leaves pieces of fruit got a bad machine, because mine works great, makes real smooth smoothies (and a smoothie should be smooth, right? :) I usually use bananas or blueberries, usually frozen, and it dissolves them all with no problem. I also use whey powder and it gets completely blended in, too. I've also used my bullet for other things, even ground almonds in it and it ground them to a fine powder. The best thing about the bullet is the ease of clean-up. This is definitely one "as seen on TV" product that lives up to the hype.

I needed a processor last minute when I went to a dept. store without seeing the infomercial. I got this because it seemed like a good deal with all the other stuff included. I didn't realize that this is best used for individual servings. Took me an hour to make a spinach pesto sauce about a jar amount, which would usually take me 20 minutes. The item did it's job but not great for dry to liquid items. This item is better for liquids or cream recipes in my opinion. I'm debating whether I want to return it or not.

Although this product does have it uses, there are so many pieces and parts. I have only used three pieces since I have used it and the rest I just got rid of. I don't see why you wouldn't buy a blender.

Great product - short lifespan July 19, 2008

I love using the Magic Bullet for the reasons listed on this site - mainly convenience of use and cleanup. Here is the catch, however. My first Magic Bullet lasted about 6 months with daily usage. I thought that the short lifespan was a fluke, so I bought another Magic Bullet. The second one lasted about two months with daily usage. Daily usage was making smoothies and grinding cheese, ice, nuts - nothing unusual, according to the sales pitch.

Believe it or not, I'm looking to buy a third Magic Bullet because of the convenience (it literally cleans up in seconds vs. a blender because the blade is easier to get at), but now I know that I'm only going to have it for a short time.
