The beloved chef Emeril Lagasse has teamed up with renowned cutlery company Wusthof to create Emerilware knives--a collection designed to deliver great performance without breaking the bank. Crafted in Wusthof's German factories, Emerilware knives feature blades that are laser-cut from high-carbon German steel. This material is durable, handsome, and stain-resistant, as well as excellent at retaining a sharp edge. Emerilware knife handles are ergonomic in shape with a nonslip grip and sport the Wusthof trident insignia at the end. All Emerilware knives are stamped on the blade with both the Emeril signature and the Wusthof logo, making them great gifts for Emeril fans. This Emerilware set includes a bamboo cutting board and an 8-inch carving knife for whole birds, roasts, and hams. Even at $20, this is pretty cheesy. Board is nice, but oddly long and narrow. The knife is junk, which is a little surprising; I've found "emerilware" to be decent quality in the past (low-end, but decent). Definitely a miss.

the board is a little small, but fine for my needs. The knife is terrific! - sharp, easy to use and elegant.

I was disappointed in the quality of the knife -- thin, flexible blade. And the board is so small that it really is useless to me. There are much better knives at this price point ... including OXO, Victronox and Anolon. Don't let the Wusthof name fool you. Don't let the Emeril name fool you either.
I gave it three stars because the price was right -- $14. Look for it soon at Big Lots.
I returned this item without hesitation.
