 Makes so-so wine taste better May 14, 2008
I was a bit sceptical when I first heard about this product, but, after trying it with various bottles of wine (all reds), I must say that it does provide for a better wine experience. Recommend it!

After purchasing this wine aerator for myself & finding an enhanced taste in my wine, I purchased several more as gifts for family members. They are amazed at the improved taste of their favorite wines. The aerator is a smart,sleek style, is compact, and easy to use. This is a product that really does what it says.

This product does in fact work. It is a little clunky to use since if you pour too fast the wine comes over the top or out the aerator holes. However, I can clearly notice the difference especially in red wines when I use it versus not. There will always be a debate about aeration or not, but if you decide to, this may be better than putting the wine in a carafe.

This simple device that aerates wine instantaneously is the best thing I have spent money on in some time. Based on a principle named after the Italian physicist Venturi, the Vinturi Wine Aerator noticeably improves the taste and smoothness of any wine, red or white, cheap or expensive, as it is poured. It does what it says it will do and then some. I would have been skeptical, but I was introduced to it at the home of friends and experienced its effect in a before-and-after taste comparison. When I got home later that evening, I was not in the door five minutes before ordering my own. I have subsequently bought three more as gifts that will be much appreciated. Buy it, enjoy it--it's worth every penny.
