Simple to clean! December 4, 2008 I'm a single guy who doesn't mind cooking, but who is less than enthusiastic about cleaning. Previously, I had a Hamiliton Beach grill with removable plates. I was sold on the idea of just chucking the plates into the dishwasher - what I didn't realize is that the space behind the plates containing the heating coil gets dirty as well, and cleaning all those nooks and crannies was a pain.
So I got the GR11wsp3 and life is simple again. When the burger is finished, I immediately wipe down the cooking surfaces with wet silicon sponges, toss the drip pan into the sink, crack open a six pack and get on with life. Next day when I'm ready to do last night's dishes (I did say I was a single guy, didn't I?) I use the hot soapy dishwater to sponge down the exterior surfaces of the grill. Total cleaning time ~ 45 seconds.
The Champ seems to get much hotter much sooner than the removable plates model - so much so that the suggested cooking times in the owners manual seem to be off. The manual recommends a cooking time of 8 minutes for a 4 oz medium well done burger. I use 6oz patties, cook them for 5 minutes, then open the top, and then place cheese on burger for 1 min, and end with a nicely done burger - no pink, but juicy.
George Foreman October 19, 2008 I use this almost every day! I'm impressed with how fast it heats up, how easy it is to clean, and the huge variety of foods I can make with it. I was a little concerned because it was so inexpensive, I thought it was be cheap, or break easily. But it seems very high quality and works well. It's perfect for someone in college, or a single person cooking for themselves, because it's small and doesn't take up too much counter space. However, if you're cooking for more than one person, I'd definitely consider purchasing a larger one.

This is my second GF grill. I use it almost everyday because it is so useful when cooking just about anything. I grill my sandwiches, vegetables, fruits etc and they all turn out great. I was especially pleased to see that this new model comes with special sponges to clean the grill. I would highly recommend this product!

This is a very useful grill - easy to use, small and compact - perfect for two people. It was also reasonably priced.
