Product Description
MIU France digital instant read thermometer, item number 90077. This pocket sized thermometer is a handy tool to have in the kitchen, restaurant or laboratory. Using a thermometer when cooking ensures that food is not under or overcooked. Undercooked food can cause food borne illnesses. The LCD screen is easy to read registers the temperature within 1-10 seconds. The hold button, when pressed, will lock the display for easy reading. A cap protects the probe while not in use. A convenient clip on the side of the cap, makes it possible to clip it to apron pockets or straps. The thermometer should not be left in the oven. To clean the probe, rinse the probe with water and wipe dry. The thermometer measures -40 degrees C to 230 degrees C or -40 degrees F to 450 degrees F. Just press the F/C button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. The on/off button extends the battery life.

It is hard to get too excited about a thermometer, but this one does the job. It works good to see if meat is done on the BBQ. Also it is priced a lot cheaper than other comparable ones.

I've had one of these for over a year and it's a champ. People pay much more for similar probes, but this works perfectly for me, plus it's NSF-certified.

This thermometer is everything I had hoped.
Great price, accurate, big display, no problems, and it stabilizes very quickly - in just a few seconds.
