Product Description Double Wall Clear Glass / 9 Ounce Capacity Each / Set of 2 / Holds warm and cold beverages
Amazon.com Review With futuristic looks and high-tech construction, Bodum's Pavina drinkware makes an exciting departure from traditional glassmaking. The walls of each vessel are crafted from two layers of clear glass, creating an optical illusion that the liquid is suspended inside. Softening the look, Pavina's shapes feature smooth, rounded silhouettes. The inner wall also curves slightly away from the outer wall for a touch of understated elegance. This set of two double old fashioned/tumbler glasses serves anything from minty mojitos to hot cocoa. Crafted of borosilicate glass, which is also used to make scientific lab equipment, the pair is exceptionally strong, lightweight, and thermal. The two-layer construction also resists heat and prevents condensation, so no matter what temperature the beverage is, the glasses remain comfortable to hold and safe for any tabletop. Winner of the prestigious European IF Design Award, this 9-ounce, scratch-resistant set also goes into the dishwasher and microwave. Mix and match Pavina with the Assam and Canteen lines to stock the bar or dining table with a variety of fun shapes. --Kara Karll Editor's Note: Because the glasses are mouth blown, each one may have slight variations in height, thickness, and weight. Bodum recommends using care when placing ice into the glass to avoid fracturing the inner layer. Do not use metal spoons or place the glass into a crowded dishwasher.

bodum pavina 9 0z therma glasses June 30, 2008 The thermal glasses are great but I expected them to be alittle bigger. Guess I meant to get the 12oz but these work fine. They don't sweat. I thought they would be plastic but it's blown glass! Do they break easy? I guess I'll find out!
Love them tenderly June 26, 2008 These glasses are certainly unique and that is their primary attraction. They perform their intended purpose, thermal protection, moderately well but don't drop them; you'll be picking up shards and slivers forever. They are also pricey, but if you want a conversation piece and can "love them tenderly", they are almost worth the price.
My third order June 25, 2008 The only problem is that they are fragile. I busted my first one puting ice in it from the refrig. Once you learn that and accept the fact that you will bust one every now and then, they are perfect for chilled wine or hot drinks for my wife.
I will replace them as broken and accept that as a cost of a great product
Bodum Pavina 9oz Double-walled Themo Glass June 13, 2008 I ordered 2 sets of these 9 ounce glasses. To my surprise, they only hold approximated 6 ounces of liquid. They look good but they do NOT hold 9 ounces of liquid. I would not recommend these glasses for purchase unless you are statisfied with glasses that will only hold 6 ounces.
Bodum Pavina 9 oz tumbler June 9, 2008 While the glasses look nice, they are very fragile and the first of two was broken within a week of arrival. The second of the pair lasted almost a month.
