The Tahoe stemware line from Signature Housewares is formal enough to enhance a special party or dining occasion, yet is also sturdy enough for everyday use. The elegantly shaped bowls are joined to the stem by a clear glass ball, which feels delightful to the fingers and adds visual distinction as well. The stems are thin but not overly delicate, which makes them safer than some for dishwasher-cleaning. Still, washing by hand may be a good idea. The four martini glasses in this set each stand 8-1/2 inches tall and hold up to 10 ounces, perfect for a Manhattan, lemon drop, or other favorite cocktail. I bought these a couple of weeks ago when on sale for 4 for $6.53. They are very sturdy and attractive glasses - definitely better than expected!

The only caution I would give a potential buy is do NOT over fill them. But they look so beautiful on the table and lend an air of elegance.
