| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review German engineering gives this durable metal corkscrew a handsome edge over others. To use, simply position the device firmly over the top of a wine bottle, twist to insert the Teflon-coated worm into the cork, and keep twisting until the cork eases out. The matte chrome finish lends the 6-1/4-by-3-1/2-inch corkscrew an up-to-date look for any bar or kitchen. Look for matching Blomus bottle stoppers, wine pourers, and wine servers to accessorize your next wine tasting. Blomus is the brand name launched in 2001 for contemporary stainless-steel products by SKS-Design, a family-owned German design company now run by the family's fifth generation. Comprising more than 500 items for the kitchen, bath, bar, fireplace, office, and outdoor patio, Blomus products embody this philosophy: Good design is both simple to use and beautiful to look at. Most Blomus products are made in Germany. --Ann Bieri

Unusable May 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The cork screw is covered in a black material, presumably to protect in shipping, but we're unable to remove it. Consequently, the item is unusable. An e-mail to the company has failed to get a response.
