Might as well use a paper towel for all the protection this mitt offers. After burning my hand on the first use I am now awaiting delivery of the mitt I should have bought in the first place.

No oven mitt keeps 100% of the heat from reaching your hand. This one does a decent job.

Excellent product. Protects hands from the heat when cooking or retrieving food from the oven. Easily cleaned without shrinking or puckering. Great price!

The color is a nice, deep red, but the padding is minimal. When getting a hot pan out of the oven I can only hold on to it for a count of two at the most before it starts to burn my hand. I'll probably have to buy a nicer brand-name product for my kitchen needs and then use these as a backup. Great, though, if you are just using them to tie some colors together in a kitchen.

This oven mitt is a great value -- just a basic mitt, but for $4 bucks, it does the job!
