Kitchen Cart Review August 27, 2008 I am very happy with this cart. I was able to put it together by myself. The instructions were very straightforward and well illustrated. The cart is sturdy and the brakes really hold. The lift up leaf is the perfect size for standard bar stools to fit under. Willy Goat (the seller) even called me to let me know the exact date the product was shipping.
Misleading description August 2, 2008 This item actually has a stainless top, not wood. The fold out breakfast bar is wood however. Otherwise the item is quite functional, and looks very good. It also wasn't too hard to put together. So if you don't mind a stainless top, this item may be perfect for you.
East to put together, well constructed July 12, 2008 This is very solid and well-constructed unit. It was easy to put together and two women put it together in two hours. It had excellent instructions with all the hardward put with each section. It looks great.
Pretty good overall. November 2, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We recieved this item shortly after we ordered it. Unfortunately two pieces were damaged during shipment and had to contact the company to have replacement pieces sent. They were shipped quickly and without hassle. Assembly went fairly smoothly and we ended up with a pretty decent cart/island with good storage space. It looks good in our kitchen and doesn't look flimsy or cheap. We feel like we got a good deal for the money.
Didn't work out for me May 24, 2004 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The shipping was very speedy but I found two major parts were badly broken when I opened the box to begin the assembly. And I was told that it would take 3 - 7 business days before replacement parts could be shipped to me. I was also overwhelmed by the complexity of the project - it has 36 individual wood pieces plus about 100 pieces of hardware! I decided that between the broken parts, the long shipping time for the replacement parts, and the complexity of assembly that it was not worth it and I returned it.
