Great how-to manual and recipes January 24, 2003 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great cookbook on pies and pastries. The instructions and pictures are very easy to follow, and the recipes include some mouth-watering combinations (like Apple Butter/Pumpkin Pie, Crumb-topped Apple Raspberry Pie) and some traditional favorites with a twist (Sugar-crusted Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie). I've baked several of the recipes and found them terrific. I recommend it for pie novices, as well as accomplished pie-bakers looking to snazz up the taste and/or look of their pies.
