For on-the-go families on a budget! August 12, 2008 You won't find any caviar dishes here - but if you're blue-collar like us and don't mind eating Ravioli occasionally, then this is your book! (C'mon - you know you like Ravioli...)
There are some great dishes in here, and if you use a few spices and things like ground turkey instead of beef, you can make them healthier and tastier as well.
4 Ingredient Dinner July 28, 2008 Good book to give to someone starting out in their own place..nice photos and easy instructions.
Betty Crocker April 8, 2008 Another gift I got for my secret pal but decided to keep for myself!!! Love it!!!
Quick, tasty dinners - great for when you're pressed for time! February 23, 2008 I have about 3-dozen cookbooks, but this is one I come back to again and again, especially when I'm pressed for time.
The recipes do only call for 4 items, but you still get the benefit of more ingredients than that, because some of the items may be something like a package of Spanish-style rice mix, so you're really getting more flavors through the additional ingredients in the items. So you get the convenience and the taste!
Here are a few recipes from this cookbook that taste particularly good: - Chili Rice con Queso (a favorite in our family) - Chicken Quesadillas - Honey-Glazed Chicken Breasts - Savory Chicken and Rice - Alfredo Salmon and Noodles
Not every recipe is a hit (a few are kind of bland), but there are enough good recipes in this cookbook to definitely make it worth buying!
wonderful easy cookbook September 15, 2007 If you are in a hurry or trying to teach someone to cook, this is a wonderful book. Recipes are very simple with 4 ingredients, there are also tips if you want to add more ingredients. I bought this for my daughter who is learning to cook and I was amazed at the nice variety of recipes. I bought one for myself too!
