Great Recipes September 14, 2008 On Monday nights, we have family dinner at our apt. and I am always making crock pot dinners! My husband has diabetes and I needed recipes that were not only good for him but delicious for everyone else! Fix It and Forget It-Diabetic Coodbook was the answer I was looking for. It has great recipes that are good for hubby and that also taste good for the entire family. Everyone has enjoyed the recipes that I make from this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs easy crock pot recipes for diabetics and anyone else.

Wonderful Book May 9, 2008 I have already made three recipes from this book and the mac and cheese twice. The recipes are so easy and full of flavor. Perfect for the diabetic that is too busy to cook when they get home.

A Must Have Cookbook for Every Busy Cook February 29, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My husband, though very active and a healthy weight, was diagnosed with type II diabetes about 5 years ago. This cookbook has been a Godsend for me. He has a sweet tooth and is also sort of a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy. This cookbook is full of delicious recipes that satisfy his appetites, the recipes are easy to fix and best of all, the ingredients are readily available no matter where you live. I also love the spiral binding that allows the book to lay flat. Even if you're not a diabetic but just want to watch your carb/sugar intake or are looking for a more healthy way to eat then this is a wonderful addition to your cookbook library. I use mine at least once a week.
