This book is approximately 1/3 incorrect! May 9, 2001 8 out of 14 found this review helpful
One thing that I found interesting about this book was the large amount of herbal, homeopathic and other "selections." I have no idea if they are complete or not, but there are a LOT.In addition, the mandala-type diagrams are somewhat visually appealing, but I found the grainy background pictures to be a turnoff. The graphics ARE better than any other pendulum book I've seen though. That being said, it turns out that about 1/3-1/4 of the diagrams have different "selections" on either side of the same path. For example, if there is an entry at 12 oclock, there can NOT be an entry at 6 oclock, which is the other side of the pendulum's path! Another way to put it is that the diagrams in error have an even number of selections on a circle. This means that there are always opposing selections. Only circular diagrams with ODD numbers of selections (which forces alternation on either side ofthe circle) and half-circle diagrams are valid. In case you're wondering, pendulum "dowsing" really DOES work. You can ask "it" questions and your subconscious mind causes microtremors in your hand to make yes, no, and other answers. It can also indicate directions, especially for lost objects. I recently sat at my desk and asked the pendulum "what should I look at next?" It lead me to an unlabelled disk that I didn't remember. It turns out my income taxes were on there. Spooky!
EXCELLENT!! A MUST HAVE FOR PENDULUM STUDY & WORK! May 13, 1999 Out of all my pendulum books this is gonna be my favorite! I think their introduction said it best. "This book supplies practical material that makes working with the pendulum easier. The instructions are brief and to the point. Instead of long-winded explanations, you'll get precise visual commentaries. It's not the purpose of this book to enter deeply into the philosophy of swinging the pendulum, nor to explore the energies that are behind it. But, of course, that doesn't mean that you couldn't benefit from researching that in other pendulum books." It is all that and more! The best charts I've ever seen in a pendulum book! The overall design of the charts are visually inspiring and beautiful! My only small complaint is I wish when these designers design pendulum books with charts they would plan to make them spiral bound so they lay flat. Other than that miniscule problem... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!! YOU'RE GONNA LOVE WORKING WITH IT!!!!
