Product Description The older children get, the more words they know and can use-including hurtful words. This book teaches children to think before they speak, then choose what to say and how to say it. They learn that there is a connection between hurtful words and feelings of anger, sadness, and regret. They explore positive ways to respond when others say mean or unkind words to them. And they discover the importance of saying "I'm sorry," two little words that can be a big help. Includes activities and discussion starters that parents, caregivers, and educators can use when working with children. Change the page count to 40 pp. Add the age range of Ages 4-7.

great book December 14, 2008 My daughter is 3 1/2 and this was a great book for her. Not too detailed but enough so. She seems to get the concept and it has helped her communicate with her friends in a constructive way.
Great Stocking Stuffer! December 13, 2008 I bought this book for my granddaughter who is 6 and is having problems in school. Name calling and not getting along with other children is at the head of the problem list needing to be addressed. Not wanting to create self image problems, this book seems to be the better way to deal with the issue without hurt. I hope it works.
Excellent book November 25, 2008 This book really helped me teach my kids how words can affect others. They are 6 years old and they gained a good understanding about how their words not only can hurt each other but also their friends. They were also able to tell me how when I get angry I make them feel. I would recommend this book.
Another Great Book In This Series November 22, 2008 Very simple, cute book that gets the message across quite well. Straight and to the point, as the other books in this series are.
Great book November 16, 2008 My five year old loved the pictures in this book. The illustrations are great and it is easy for a toddler to follow and understand.
