| Customer Reviews:
Very Practical October 24, 2008 Stewart does a great job of compiling essays, chapters, and various works from a great number of scholars to create a very practical interpersonal communication book. Since each section is composed by a different person, the information does contradict... which any communication student should be used to. While the book is composed on a very practical level, Stewart does not seem to risk diving to the depths of communication theory that are possible. Overall, many of the authors tend to write in a technique-oriented manner. Great for a learning technician - not as much for the learning engineer.
